Following

Indeed, while following the way of Your judgments, Lord,
We have waited for You eagerly;
Your name, and remembering You, is the desire of our souls. Isaiah 26:8

It is only in keeping God first place in our lives that we can please Him. When we remember to give Him proper place we bring glory to Him. Other translations say “Our heart’s desire is to glorify Your Name“.

I want my life to glorify God not just sometimes, but all the time. In order to do that I have to give Him first place and have to obey what He tells me. Holy Spirit is given to guide me and to reveal to me the truth of God but I have to be in a position to hear Him.

Lord helped me to keep You in first place and follow Your ways.
