Waiting of God

“I will praise You forever, because You have done it, And I will wait on Your name, for it is good, in the presence of Your godly ones.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭52‬:‭9‬ ‭‬‬

Waiting on God, even when you are a mighty warrior, with riches to boot, is not easy. David knew this.  It is easy to want to trust, tangible things instead of waiting on God. We can call on His name, praise Him, and rest in His presence.

Lord, let me not look to worldly things and times of trouble but instead to wait on You. Praising You and being intentional to stay in Your presence.
