Mountains

There will be days in our lives we will face mountains. Some mountains will feel distant and others may feel larger than life. Some have more obstacles, like the snow cap, and others don’t seem too bad. Regardless, of how big they are, we can face them with God on our side.

And He *said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.“. ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭17‬:‭20‬ ‭

And Jesus *answered saying to them, “Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him.“. ‭‭Mark‬ ‭11‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭

I admit I have never spoke to a mountain “move” and seen it cast into the sea. More often than not, God moves me. He reminds me the mountains are stationary. The amount of time it takes me to face the mountain, climb it, get around it or overcome depends on how much I am willing to consistently do to bring the change about. I can drag my feet. I can gripe and complain. Or I can keep my faith in Him and take one step at a time until that mountain is behind me.
