A New Heart

Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26

Healing comes when we allow God to give us a new heart and surrender to Holy Spirit our life. We have to allow Him to remove the things in our life that have turned it to stone. We allow Him to remove the things we experienced that we don’t know how to heal from. We have to allow Him to remove the messages we have internalized that were spoken over us. We allow Him to remove those things that have frozen us in fear. We have to allow a new heart, healed by Holy Spirit to be placed within us.

This is the process God did in my life. I remember Holy Spirit walking me through the healing process as He removed rejection from my life. Not that the spirit of rejection doesn’t try to come back to me, but He removed the root from my life. He removed the lies that I told myself based on those experiences that I didn’t know how to heal from. He replaced a soft heart in my life. I want to help others find that healing and allow God to put a new spirit and a new heart within them too.

Lord, thank You for Holy Spirit within me. Thank You for removing the old stony heart and placing a new heart within me. Help me to help others to allow You to do the same. Amen.
