Poured Out

It will come about after this
That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind;
And your sons and daughters will prophesy,
Your old men will dream dreams,
Your young men will see visions.
Even on the male and female servants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days. Joel 2:28-29

Holy Spirit was poured out on all mankind on the day of Pentecost. Since that time, we have seen an increase in prophecy, dreams and visions. God made His Spirit available to the young and old; male and female; free and servant. God does not discriminate.

This prophesy from Joel opened the way for the Jewish people to accept that the Gentiles could also receive from God, which previously had been talked about but was not common. Holy Spirit remains available to all who become followers of Christ. He indwells in every believer and is available to be poured out through us.

Lord, thank You for the outpouring of Holy Spirit on all mankind. Let me have a fresh feeling of Your outpoured spirit. I want and need more of You!
