We are Given

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, Romans 8:14-16

Sons of God. Adopted children of God. These titles are given as we are led by the Spirit. He draws us into salvation. We aren’t called to live in fear. We are adopted children, given full access to God just as Jesus had while He was on Earth. He is our Abba Father that we can cry out to.

Lord, thank You for Holy Spirit leading me to You. Thank You for giving me the Spirit of adoption and testifying that You are my Abba Father.
