Tongues

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:4

This scripture shares of the outpouring of Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. Every person was filled and began to speak in tongues. People from all around the region heard them and were able to understand in their own spoken language.

This is less common in the tongues presented in the church now. Is it a different tongue? Is it that so many languages are now extinct? Or is it that we aren’t around those from other parts of the world? Those are so many dialects, what are we missing?

Lord fill me with Your spirit. Let me speak in tongues as You give utterance.
