The Spirits searches all things, even the depths of God. I can relate and will say I hope this trait in me is driven from Holy Spirit. Although I admit some of my searching is tied to forgetting where I put things. But I also love looking up things and believe that is part of who God made me to be. If Holy Spirit searches all things, why would it not be okay for me too?
As a child, I would search the dictionary, encyclopedia, my mother”s books and eventually the library. As a teen, I searched the world looking for something to feel an empty void. As a young adult I started searching for knowledge as I pursued higher education. After having three children, I begin to seek the Word for myself looking for the Savior I met as a child. That search continues today as I daily seek to know Him more. I do still have a tendency to use Google more than I should and get lost in the search, but my greatest search is to know God more, to understand to example of Jesus and to all Holy Spirit to search me and make me more like Christ.
Lord thank You for the wisdom and knowledge You have revealed to me through Holy Spirit. Help me to search more diligently, continue to search Me and reveal to me any spirits that are not of You that influence me.
