Helper

”I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.“. ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭‬‬

Jesus asked God to send Holy Spirit, our Helper forever. The revealer of all truth who abides within every believer. As a child, I knew this role of Holy Spirit but didn’t really understand how much He was able to help. When my mother had a rapid decline, I was positioned by leading of Holy Spirit to a place that gave me favor to get her into a place that gave me favor to get her into a place that could immediately meet her needs. I recognize that was Holy Spirit’s help. I knew the length of the wait list and I was able to skirt it completely. It was Holy Spirit.

He has guided me in truth, giving me an understanding of truth to bring healing in my life. He positioned me to allow me to share those truths in clients as He revealed the theory behind what He did in my own life. That is Holy Spirit; Ge reveals all truth. He abides in me and is always with me.

Lord, thank You for Holy Spirit, for Your help, Your truth, and Your abiding presence. Let me never take Your Spirit for granted.
