Heal Apostasy

”I will heal their apostasy, I will love them freely, For My anger has turned away from them.“. ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭14‬:‭4‬

This prophesy was for the people of Israel to return to God. I can’t help but think America needs this too. There is such apostasy in our nation. Yes, we gave religious freedom, but we are also a nation founded on God and godly principles. There are too many documents from our founding fathers that point to this truth. Yet we have turned our back on God as a nation. Laws are passed that support ungodly principles.

God loves people. He is not willing that any should perish, but if we think we can continue in the apostasy and not face consequences we are mistaken. If He allowed His chosen people to face the consequences of their choices, we will too. If the epidemic of addiction doesn’t destroy us, the violence and division may. We don’t want the anger of God to turn towards us also.

We need to rise up and boldly declare the truth of God’s Word in love. We need to get on our knees and pray through until breakthrough comes in our families, our cities, our state and our nation. God’s children need to heed the call to repent that was given in Chronicles so that God will heal our nation.

”and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place.“. ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭7‬:‭14‬-‭15‬
