”Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases;“. Psalms 103:2-3
There are many benefits of being a child of God. His love, His mercy, His forgiveness, salvation, His grace, His protection, His favor, He is Provider, just to name a few. We do well not to forget all that He has done for us in us.
He is pardoned or forgave all our wickedness and sin. It was complete when we received His free gift of salvation and the finished work of the cross. It begins to change us as we remember who we were before His free gift.

He heals us. There is a note in Strong’s H7495 – rāp̄ā’ that says, “He heals, including the consequences of backsliding.”
I think that little was for me. Often I find myself feeling regret over the time spent backslidden. I am so grateful he has pardoned me from that as well. I don’t have to let the enemy torment me with it.
Diseases are healed. I know this doesn’t mean that there are no diseases in this world, but the ultimately they will all be healed. Whether that takes place on this side of eternity or heavens, only God knows. His ways are higher than mine. I may not understand it, but I trust Him.
Lord, thank You for who You are, and all that You have done in my life. Let me never forget all that You are, and all that You have done. Thank You for Your forgiveness and all of my iniquities, including the time that I have backslidden are pardoned. Thank You for Your healing in my life.
