God’s Angels

His angel guards those who honor the Lord
    and rescues them from danger. Psalms 34:7

One prayer I often pray is for God to give His angels charge over me, especially when I am traveling. Angels have guarded me and my children throughout our lives. He has sent His angels to rescue me from danger, a few times that I know about. Probably countless more times I don’t. A few times that come to mind quickly are:

When I was on codeine cough medicine and drinking alcohol. I should have went and had my stomach pumped. Instead I laid in the floor until the following morning with my friends checking on me regularly out of concern. I know angels were guarding over me the time that I put myself in situations that no teenage girl belonged in over and over again. I know God’s angels kept guard over me one particular trip when my tire came off the axle while I was driving with my children. We were on a curvy road with no phone service. I was able to pull over smoothly, thinking my tire went flat. The mechanic that stopped to help me couldn’t believe that I had been able to pull over, I knew it was God’s Angels.

Lord thank you for keeping your Angels protecting me from danger and guarding me and my family I thank you and praise you for that in Jesus name amen
