Control Our Lives

The Spirit has given us life; he must also control our lives. Galatians 5:25

Holy Spirit has given believers life. When we allow Him to control our life we take the natural to His supernatural. The life He gives is not just existing, it is an abundant life. He provides wisdom and peace to walk in. He comforts us. He guides us. He empowers us to live holy when we allow Him to control our lives.

In my own life, Holy Spirit gave me life when I was 8 years old. But it was over a few decades before I started giving Him control of my life. Learning to obey Him completely. Trust came hard even with Holy Spirit. He is a gentleman offering Himself but never forcing. He guides but He rarely pushes and He never forces. The choice was mine.

Lord thank You for Holy Spirit breathing life into me. Help me to continue to surrender more and more of my life to You. Have Your way in me.
