Prayer for the Children at War

Heavenly Father today we come to You on behalf of those innocent people who are living in war torn areas. War is hitting so many regions right now, You know where they are, but I lift up those I know about in Israel, Palenstine, Ukraine, Russia, Afghanistan, Central African Republic, Ethiopia, Libya, Mali, Somalia, South Sudan, and Syria.

Lord, we lift up the children especially because their lives are still being shaped. Keep a hedge of protection around the children’s body, mind, soul, and spirit. Help their minds not be shaped by the war, pain and hate that is surrounding them. Help them to find You in the midst of the darkness. Let their souls be at peace until their lands can make peace. Protect their bodies, protect their families. Let them fond You in midst of these wars.

Lord we come to You and stand in the gap for the innocent children and families in these war torn areas asking for safety, Lord let them remain under the protection of the Almighty, Let them say to You, “You are my defender and protector. You are my God; in you I trust.” Lord keep them safe from all hidden dangers and from all deadly diseases. Lord cover them with Your wings; let them be safe in Your care; let Your faithfulness protect and defend them.

Lord let them not fear any dangers at night or sudden attacks during the day or the plagues that strike in the dark or the evils that kill in daylight. Lord, though a thousand may fall dead beside them, ten thousand all around them, let them not be harmed. Help them to look and see how the wicked are punished. Lord be their defender, the Most High their protector, and so no disaster will strike them, no violence will come near their homes.

God will You put Your angels in charge of the children in these war areas to protect them wherever they go. Let the angels hold the children up with their hands to keep the children from hurting their feet on the stones. God we ask You to say, “I will save those children, they will love me and I will protect those children, they will acknowledge me as Lord.

Lord we call to You, asking You to answer us as we stand in the gap for the children and their families; We know they are in trouble, Lord be with them. Rescue them and honor them. Lord reward them with long life; save them.
