One Hour Prayer Cycle

Praise Psalm 103:1 Praise the Lord O my soul! All my being praise His holy name.

Holy Father, Lord of Lord, King of Kings, God Almighty. There are so many names to describe You, reasons to praise You, Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Rapha. You are so great and good. You are mighty and so powerful. You have held the world in Your hands and yet You care about me too. You know everything, yet You care about the small details of my life. I praise You Lord, the lover of my soul. You deserve all praise and worship. You alone are worthy. You are love. You are Peace. You are everything I need and love me because of who You are. You Holy Father. I love You, I adore You, and I exalt Your Holy Name.

Wait Lamentations 3:25 The Lord is good to everyone who trusts in him,

Lord, I wait on You. You are good and You care about me. Help me to teach this to others, sharing how they can connect deeply with God themselves and incorporate it into their lives. I want to draw closer to God.

Confession Psalms 51:1-13 Remove my sin, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Psalm 51:7

Lord forgive me of my sins, those I have done intentionally and the unintentional sins. Show me anything in my life that keeps me from You. Show me how to let go of the sin that so easily entraps me. I wait to walk in complete union with You, but I recognize that means letting go of the things that keep me from You.

Read the Word Philippians 1

Petition Matthew 7:3-8 Why, then, do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the log in your own eye? How dare you say to your brother, ‘Please, let me take that speck out of your eye,’ when you have a log in your own eye? You hypocrite! First take the log out of your own eye, and then you will be able to see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

“Do not give what is holy to dogs—they will only turn and attack you. Do not throw your pearls in front of pigs—they will only trample them underfoot “Ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks will receive, and anyone who seeks will find, and the door will be opened to those who knock.

Lord what stands out to me in this passage is the open door. I am knocking, asking for open doors not just to meet my family’s needs but for Your Kingdom’s sake, for the ability to spread Your Word one to one and on a bigger scale. I want to be able to share You with more people. Open the doors and shut those You don’t want me to open or walk through. I want increased hunger and thirst for You. I ask that my legacy be You in the life of everyone I meet. People need You and I ask to be a tool in Your hand. I want to increase Your kingdom.

Intercession Ephesians 6:18 Do all this in prayer, asking for God’s help. Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for all God’s people.

Lord I lift at my church family to You. So many are facing struggles with separation from family, illness, financial constraints, need, job needs, and spiritual needs. Lord I pray that whatever the need, they will find the answer in You. I pray for Debbie’s son that You would free him from the addiction for good and help him to walk in You. I also pray for June’s son Jonathan to be freed from addiction and return to You. I ask for Wynette and her daughter-in-law to be reconciled. I pray for my family to know and walk with You in true Fellowship. I pray for Tim’s trip to Arkansas and for Laurin and Josh’s trip to Aruba, keep them all safe.

Pray the Word Psalm 119:113-176

Thanksgiving Colossians 4:2 Be persistent in prayer, and keep alert as you pray, giving thanks to God.

Lord, I thank You for Your many blessings on my life. I also thank You for all You have walked me through. I thank You for Your grace as You helped me raise the kids. I thank You for the ministry of reconciliation in my marriage, with Granny, with Ron, and within my family. Lord I praise You for Your hand on my life and that You see and hear me. Thank You for provision and protection. Thank You for open doors and also for the ones You have shut to keep me from walking through. I thank You for wisdom, mercy, grace, forgiveness, love, peace and joy. I praise You Father thank You for keeping me on this day and every day. I love You Lord God!

Singing Psalm 98:1 Sing a new song to the Lord; he has done wonderful things!
By his own power and holy strength he has won the victory.

  • Victory in Jesus (You can hear a version of this song here)
  • Thank You Lord (You can hear a version of this song here)
  • I will call upon the Lord (You can hear a version of this song here)

Meditate Psalm 145:5 They will speak of your glory and majesty, and I will meditate on your wonderful deeds.

Holy Father, You are my Father and I can rest in You. I can trust You with Your Word. You love is pure. Your care is perfect. I do not have to worry. Holy, perfect, complete, righteous. I can rest in You.

Listen Matthew 11:15 Listen, then, if you have ears!

Doors. Some doors will open easily, others will not. It does not mean that I shouldn’t walk through them. There are doors that God will lock and others that will be kept shut for an appointed time. There will be wisdom available to tell the difference. Some doors may feel like they lead to nowhere, pay attention because there are other doors in that space that can take you to new heights and depths. There will be doors that lead to wide open spaces, rest there, but do not get comfortable. YOu are not meant to stay in the comfort. You are meant for community.

Praise Psalm 150 Praise the Lord! Praise God in his Temple! Praise his strength in heaven! Praise him for the mighty things he has done.
Praise his supreme greatness. Praise him with trumpets. Praise him with harps and lyres. Praise him with drums and dancing. Praise him with harps and flutes. Praise him with cymbals. Praise him with loud cymbals. Praise the Lord, all living creatures! Praise the Lord!

I praise you Lord for who you are. I praise you for salvation. Praise you for divine opportunities. Praise you for fellowship with other believers. Praise you for your faithfulness. Praise you for your voice in my life. Praise you for your wisdom. You for how you guide me and prepare me. I prayed you for speaking to me, for seeing me and for hearing me. Thank you Lord for being you, for making me me and for loving me. I praise you Lord for I am made in your image. Me to bring you glory and honor. I praise you for this day and this time with you. Praise you for the opportunities you’re placing before me.
