“A good person will never fail; he will always be remembered. He is not afraid of receiving bad news; his faith is strong, and he trusts in the Lord. He is not worried or afraid; he is certain to see his enemies defeated.” Psalm 112:6-8
As the war rages on between Hamas and the state of Israel, it is hard not to feel like evil is winning. The death tally increases for Israel and the Palestinians; there are too many are innocent bystanders. But I cannot fear the bad news; I know that Israel is God’s chosen people and He will care for them. Who knows if this tragedy will turn the people to Jehovah Nissi? Or if this will cause those who are Jewish to get back to defend their homeland? I know that God will triumph in this war regardless of what happens. Eventually Israel’s enemies will be destroyed.
Prayer – Lord, I know praying for Israel is important. I ask for Your continued protection for the people of Israel and all the innocent people who are part of that region. I asked Lord also for Hamas, Lord change their hearts. Allow them to encounter You and testify of Your great works. Let them have a true conversion, they are but a tool that the enemy will eventually discard, but their souls are precious to You. Remove the veil that the enemy that them under and allow Your spirit to reign supreme in all of Israel and the Middle East. In Jesus name Amen
