Heavenly Father, I thank You for those You have called to shepherd Your flock. I lift up the pastors, preachers, bishops and fathers that are serving Your body. Thank You for the work of their hands, strengthen and encourage each and every leader in Your body.
Guide them and instruct them that they may lead Your people. I pray for the vision You have given pastors, Lord help them to make it clear to their congregations and equip them to let the people run with that vision. I pray that each congregation would do their part of the work of the ministry in their region. Thwart every attack of the enemy that would try to come against Your Church.
Lord let Your leaders walk and men and women of integrity. Bless their family with every spiritual blessing. Bind together in love and unity those who are married, and help them to keep You at the center. Those who walk a life fully devoted to You who are not married, help them to walk pure and upright and not give way to any temptations. Place a hedge of protection around the ministers children as the enemy wants to steal, kill, and destroy families, especially those called by You.
Lord, we appreciate our Pastors. Help them to see themselves as You see them, to hear Your voice above every other voice, to be strong and courageous. Send people, or help us rise up if we are those people to hold up their arms when they grow weary just as Aaron and Ur supported Moses. I ask these things in Jesus name. Amen.
