I’m Possible

“Jesus answered, “What is humanly impossible is possible for God.”” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭18‬:‭27‬ ‭

There is a quote attributed to Audrey Hepburn, “Nothing is impossible. The very word says ‘I’m Possible’.” It echoes these words spoken by Jesus. God is the great I Am. For Him, everything is possible.

When I think about the impossible He made possible, a few things come to mind:

• Creation of everything from nothing
• The plagues in Egypt
• The parting of the Red Sea
• Water from a rock
• Pregnancy in a virgin
• The crucifixion following the physical torture
• Raising Himself from the grace

These are just a few of the things that are hard for humans to explain and therefore for men are impossible. Yet we know each was done. These were not coincidences or accidents, they were purposeful events. God made them possible.

If He can work the impossible then, He can and still work them now. When we believe that something is impossible in the natural, our mind is inclined to it try. I would challenge if it is needed and in the natural it is impossible, we need to give it to the Lord. I have seen Him deliver people from addictions, restore relationships, bring complete healing when man said it was hopeless, and use brokenness for His glory. He takes the impossible and makes it possible.

Prayer – Lord, thank You that nothing for You is impossible. Continue to work Your possible in and through me!
