Life in Christ

“Your life in Christ makes you strong, and his love comforts you. You have fellowship with the Spirit, and you have kindness and compassion for one another. I urge you, then, to make me completely happy by having the same thoughts, sharing the same love, and being one in soul and mind.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭‬

My life in Christ makes me strong. The order of these words stuck out to me. It is when I am living life in Christ that I become strong.His strength is made perfect in my weakness, so that makes sense.

Everything I need is in Him.

Love

Comfort

Fellowship

Kindness

Compassion

All is complete in Him.

It is also when I abide in Him those same things are able to flow through me to others. When I have the mind of Christ, I can share those thoughts with others. I can share His love, I can be in unity with others.

Prayer – Lord, I do want to be strong and I know that can’t happen aside from You. I don’t want to live apart from You. I need Your love, comfort, and fellowship. I need Your kindness to flow through me. I want my life to make You happy. I want my life in Christ.
