Shame and Disgrace are Ended

Your shame and disgrace are ended. You will live in your own land, And your wealth will be doubled; Your joy will last forever. Isaiah 61:7

God never meant for His children to live in shame and disgraced on this earth. When sun entered the world, He already had the path through Jesus to pay for and end our shame and disgrace.

The enemy wants us to cowers down, reminding us of our shame. He wants to make us focus on moments of disgrace. But God does not see our shame or our disgrace, He sees the finished work of the cross. God wants us to walk in the completed work. He will bless us, double for our trouble. He wants us to walk in the joy of the fruit of His Spirit.

Prayer – Lord, thank You for taking my shame and forgiving my disgrace. Thank You for allowing Jesus to take my place so I could walk in freedom. These are more a blessing than I deserve, but You didn’t stop there. Thank You for the empowering of Holy Spirit and giving me joy unspeakable. Thank You for the double for my trouble. In Jesus name, Amen.
