As I seek God’s direction in my life, I really want a clear revelation like Paul received in Acts 26:13-18. He knew he was called to the Gentiles, the kings and then the Jews. it was very clear and direct from Holy Spirit.
I know I am called to help people. I feel that women, marriages, and native people are those God has placed on my heart. He has also placed those who have experienced trauma. Like Paul who spent five years pursuing the Jews first, even though they were his third assignment, I often get side tracked by things that draw my attention, and are easier
As I consider stepping out into coaching, I want to cleary decipher if I am led by Holy Spirit or something else. I want to be a doer, a person who puts things into practice, not just a hearer. I also don’t want to procrastinate if it is where God is taking me. I like 1:1 but I have always wanted to do macro work.
So today I pray this prayer from Rick Renner.
Lord , I humble myself before You and ask You to reveal to me my God given assigned place, what is my purpose and calling on my life? Please make it clear to me. In Jesus name. Amen.
