Stronghold

The Lord is good,
    a stronghold in the day of trouble;
he knows those who take refuge in him. Nahum 1:7

When I think of the word stronghold, I typically think a negative terms. I picture root of bitterness or unforgiveness that creates a stronghold. In this verse, a stronghold is positive.

God knows those who take refuge in His stronghold.
