Look to the Lord

But as for me, I will look to the Lord;
    I will wait for the God of my salvation;
    my God will hear me. Micah 7:7

Regardless of what is going on around us, our choice has to be to look to the Lord. Future spoke about Joseph today and how he kept his eyes on God from the pit, to the palace, to the prison, and to his position of power. He produced fruit in every place and the favor of God never left him. He waited on the Lord and God brought salvation through him during the famine.

It is easy to get sidetracked by the circumstances we face in life. There have been times I’ve lost sight of God because of what I was facing. My father died my anger and hurt caused me to take my eyes off God. God was faithful, His favor never left my life. I realized despite the lows I have faced, God never left me. He never stopped looking out for me. He pursued me even when I walked away from Him.
