Rivers and Fire

But now thus says the Lord,
he who created you, O Jacob,
    he who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
    I have called you by name, you are mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
    and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
    and the flame shall not consume you. Isaiah 43:1-2

God created and formed each of us. He is not willing that any should perish. He will be with us. Each of us by name. We are His. He will be with us when we walk through things. If we keep our focus on Him, we won’t be overwhelmed when life is flowing so fast we can’t even stand tall. When trials of this world come, they will not cause us harm or destroy us if we keep our focus on the One who made us.

Lord, I know the rivers will rage and the fire will come. I asked that You would be with me. I think of the fires that are literally destroying this state right now and I know that You can bring good out of it. I pray for the fires to stop burning and consuming in the natural but ask Lord let Holy Spirit fire burn even more in this place. In Jesus name amen.
