Your Prayers

 for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance, Philippians 1:19

I have realized in my walk up God that regardless what I face, God will use it to work out my salvation. Things are better even when I’m going through a rough time when I have covered them in prayer and am being led by Holy Spirit.

I think about how I face the death of my father in comparison to the death of my mother. Or how I faced the deaths of two friends, the death of Joana versus the death of Jennifer. The difference between being covered in prayer and support and kind of being on my own, despite being with the body of believers. I realize I need people in my life who can cover me during tough times. I know I will face them. We all need people who will be lifting us up in prayer, standing in the gap when we are at our weakest.

We already know God uses things for His glory and can use everything for His good. We just need that support to get through it. This doesn’t come from people you know casually (although it generally starts there as those relationships deepen through trials). It comes in relationships with people who know you and can read when things are okay or not okay, without you saying a word. It comes from people who will stand in the gap even when you can’t stand. It is from people who will pay the cost on their knees when you can’t because they care so much about you.

Lord, I know I need more people in my life that can lift me up when I need prayer. I thank You that I have been connected with many already. I pray You would deepen and strengthen those relationships and pray that You would bring us couples that we can pour into and who will pour into us and do life with us. In Jesus name. Amen.
