Lifted Up

And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” John 12:32

My job as a Christian is to lift Jesus up to those around me. Holy Spirit draws them to Him. So how do I lift him up?

• I act like Him.
• My words and actions reflect Him.
• I love like Him.
• I share wisdom and knowledge from Him.
• I treat others the way that He would.
• I respond in love instead of the flesh.
• I give.
• I share.
• I help.

Those things when done for God, lift Jesus up before men. When those things are done in myself or for my own glory, it is not for Him. I have to make the choice to lift Jesus up, not myself. Otherwise, I will unintentionally lead people astray if they are following me and not Him.

Jesus was also lifted upon the cross and as our Savior, He will draw all men to Him. One day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess. People will wish they had come to Him but then it will be too late.

Lord, I want all men, especially those that I have the opportunity to influence, to see you lifted up. Let my life show You to all those who come in contact with me. I know Your desire is greater than mine that all men would come to know You!
