Disarmed

He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him. Colossians 2:15

Christ disarmed the enemy at the cross. As I think about the political climate this past year, what others “prophesied” didn’t occur. The truth is society was disarmed and we have been walking through a fog for many years. Regardless of who is at the helm of leadership in the United States, Christ has always been in control. The enemy may have played his hand, but God has already triumphed over the enemy’s plans. The enemy has already been put to shame. It is his to carry.

Lord, help me to remember that the enemy is already defeated. Our triumphant in all things regardless of how the circumstances look.
