Deceived

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. 1 Corinthians 3:18

I am someone who likes to know things, whether it is Godly wisdom or worldly knowledge. I don’t necessarily think of myself as wise, but I do like to know things.I realize that sometimes I deceive myself. I start to think that knowledge is enough, but fail to put into practice what I know.

That is one thing I am learning here. I see people really putting their faith and knowledge in to action. I want to stop just knowing and start consistently doing. I have to get past excuses and my insecurities. I have to let go of the past and walk in what God wants me to do.

Lord, I want to be a fool to the world. I want to be wise for You. Help me to stop being deceived.
