Highways and Hedges

And the master said to the servant, ‘Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled. Luke 14:23

Jesus doesn’t want the people that we expect to be invited, but those from the highways and hedges. He invited those that society keeps it arms links, on the outskirts of town or on the other side of the tracks. Jesus invited them to the table. He asked them not to serve but to sit.

Lord I want to offer hospitality like You do. Help me to be open to it. I want to see others as You do.
