Service to our brothers

By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. 1 John 3:16

Our lives are supposed to be spent in service to our brothers, even unto death. Not just our physical siblings but those connected to us through relationship in Christ. I can be very selfish, even towards those closest to me. I don’t serve like I should. I am getting better but I know I have so much more to give.

Lord helped me to be like You. Help me to be willing to lay down all for those who are my brothers and sisters in Christ.
