His Presence

And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. Exodus 33:14-15

I’m halfway through theis fast and although I have felt God’s presence and had His rest, I want more. I don’t want to go without His presence in my life. I want to carry and abide in His tangible presence so that others encounter Him through me. I made Him in my life and I need Him all the time.

I was watching this show tonight The Sound of the Spirit. It is about a young 12 year old Jewish girl who lost her parents. She was a messianic Jew and the relatives she went to live with were not. She was talking about Elijah or Elijah but she ended up quoting this scripture. Then I came to it again in my devotion. I take that as a sign.

Lord I need Your presence. I don’t want to go anywhere or be part of anything where Your presence is not there. Lord I want Your tangible presence in and through me. I want Your rest. I don’t want to go without You!
