Go your way; behold, I am sending you out as lambs in the midst of wolves. Luke 10:3
Jesus sent out the disciples without provision. They had no guarantee of success, just faith in the One who sent them. They failed at times. There was the father who asked why the disciples had not been able to cast the demon out of his son that kept throwing him in the fire. There were still times they argued amongst themselves. They left Jesus in the garden afraid for their own lives at his most vulnerable time. Despite their failures and shortcomings, they eventually fulfilled the dream of serving the kingdom. They each ended up giving their lives to that dream.
What do I need to hear from God in order to find the courage to step out on big dreams I have? I would love to have direction. I’ve been amongst the wolves and I am aware of my weaknesses. I need His direction in my steps to know where to go because I don’t want it my way. I want it God’s way! He gave me the dream and I need Him to help me to fulfill it.
God, I thank You for the many dreams You have placed inside of me. I ask for clear direction and connections to help me go where Your leading. I want to hear Your voice most clearly, loudest, and I want to be quick to obey. I trust You with the big and small steps, my words and my actions, my finances, my intake and output, my comings and goings; they are all Yours. In Jesus name amen.
