The Exalted Word

I bow down toward your holy temple
    and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness,
    for you have exalted above all things
    your name and your word. Psalm 138:2

God has exalted His Word. His Words will not return to Him void. One of the things I’ve learned in counseling is that biblical truths are true regardless of what others believe. I can teach the truth and if they duplicate it, change will occur in their life. The change is not dependent on their status with God, but obedience the truth of His Word. And God’s faithfulness to His Word.

Lord help me to speak the truth of your word and exalt it as you do to situations that need to be changed.
