Seek

“Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew‬ ‭18‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭‬‬

One of the awesome and yet sometimes annoying things about little children is their thirst for knowledge. The many questions they ask and the degree to which they believe that which is told to them. They hold it as truth unless something proves it wrong and still sometimes after.

That is how God wants us to be. He wants us to seek Him for answers, answers about who He is and who I am. He wants us to seek Him for answers to every day life things and answers of things eternal. He wants us to seek Him with our wants and needs.

He wants us to seek His kingdom (Matthew 6:33).

He wants us to seek good (Amos 5:14), to seek the fruit (Philippians 4:17), to seek His face (Psalm 27:8).

He wants us to seek the things above (Colossians 3:2), to seek wisdom (James 1:5).

He wants us to seek His name (Psalm 83:16).

He wants us to seek to show hospitality (Romans 12:13).

He wants us to seek peace (Psalm 34:14).

If the angels cry Holy, Holy Holy 24/7 we can rest assured we can seek God every day of our life and never know every thing there is to know about God. It is our choice to seek Him.

Prayer – Lord, I do want to know You more. I want to seek all that You have for me to know. I want to seek all that You have called me to be. I seek Your face and Your presence. I seek Your fruit and Your wisdom. I seek You. Help me to be consistent in my pursuit.
