The Same

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭8‬

Today I am grateful for that promise. I can hold on to it with ease. It is starting to sink in to me that Tim is so far away. We have never been this far away from each other. We have not been apart this long either.

Last night was rough because I could not be there to physically reassure him that it will all work out. He is so stressed. I fee that stress from Him.

Yet before ai talked with him, I had such peace. I have an anticipation about our coming future. I know and declare God is in control. He has not changed, regardless of what emotions are saying.

I need to allow Him to still my heart instead of allowing the enemy to steal my peace. I declare peace over Tim too.

Prayer – Lord Jesus, I need Your peace. I know Your presence has not left me. Please still my heart and mind. You have not changed, You are the same. You are in control and You will guide our paths as we keep our trust in You. Be with Tim. Surround him with Your peace and goodness. Still him and show him You are in control.
