““And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭

This prophesy tore down cultural norms. It doesn’t mention preachers or evangelists but sons, daughters, the young, the old, and the servants. God is going to pour His Spirit on all. He is not a respecter of gender or age.

He was not saying the person has to reach some milestone of maturity. Nor did He put qualifiers based on the position of the person in society. His Spirit is available to ALL flesh. Every single person has the ability to be used by God. We all can be used by God.

Prayer ~ Lore help me to stop making excuses for why I can not serve You. I will never be too young or too old. My gender as a female does not disqualify me. My position is in You not in my career. Lord, I want more of Your Spirit.
