“So is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable. It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.” 1 Corinthians 15:42-44
Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life. He provides for us in that we are raised in and with Him to the imperishable. We are warned not to fear Him who can kill the body, but the one who can destroy the soul.
Our soul is imperishable. God takes our dishonor and uses it for His glory. I admit I made a lot of dishonorable decisions but God somehow turned them into a testimony. He has allowed me to use even those poor choices to further His Kingdom. God’s power is made perfect in our weakness. He takes our natural body and unites it with His Spirit. These things are made possible through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Prayer – Lord I know there is so much I over look that You have provided. Open my eyes to see more clearly all You have provided through the resurrection.
