The Word

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.” John‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭

“Jesus is the Word. He came to earth as man to save us. We didn’t need saving in the beginning.” That was the lesson from the teacher to the student in Jonathan Cahn’s devotional The Book of Mysteries for today. The prophesy of Jesus is fulfilled each time someone. accepts His sacrifice and receives salvation.

There is a lot that goes into the meaning of a name. Jesus was named by the Father, knowing what He would fulfill. We name our children often with names of what we hope will be displayed or done by the child as the grow. Often we don’t even considering the meaning of a name, instead naming a child after someone we admire or family names.

Prayer – Lord, thank You for giving us the Word to save us. Thank You for making us and paying the price for our sins. Thank You for all that You are and all You are Helping me to become. I praise You Lord.,
