Complete Price

How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our<span data-fn="#fen-ESV-30103a" class="footnote" data-link="[<a href="#fen-ESV-30103a" title="See footnote a">a[a] conscience from dead works to serve the living God. Hebrews 9:14

Jesus paid the complete price for my sin. I must purify my conscience from the dead works. Those work that I hold on to keep me from fully serving the Living God.

I can not allow my thoughts to nullify the completed work of Christ. I do this often. I allow my thoughts to keep me from serving God as He speaks to me. I too often allow reason and self-doubt to keep me from following though in the moment with what I feel God has told me to do.

Lord, as I renew my mind, help me to let go of dead works. Renew my thoughts to the finished work of the cross and help me to overcome reason and self-doubt. Let nothing stand in the way or keep me from serving You immediately in obedience.
