His Fullness

“For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.” Colossians‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬-‭10‬

Jesus was the full of the dirty. He was the head of all rule and authority. His Spirit fills every believer. If I acknowledge His as head of all rule and authority, why do I allow other things to rule over me? Why do I give authority to the lies that I have been told? It is no wonder we are told to renew our mind.

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬

To understand who we are in Christ is the only way we can walk in the fullness of what He has placed inside each of us. We did not receive just a small piece of His Spirit. His fullness is in each of us. He is. It divided amongst His children. We are all one body. He is the head. We have been wholly filled by Holy Spirit. His fullness is in us.

“If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭11‬ ‭

And if the same Spirit that rose Christ from the dead lives in me, then He is the only one who I allow to have rule and authority in my life.

Prayer – Lord ai acknowledge that Jesus Christ was the whole fullness of the deity of God. He is the head of all rule and authority. I submit my life to your rule and authority as I am filled with Your Spirit.
