On Earth as it is in Heaven

Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10

This little sentence of the priorities issues to teach the disciples to pray is simple, yet powerful. Heaven on Earth. God’s will be done here as it is in heaven. I am trying to renew my mind to the finished work of the cross. To understand that God’s kingdom came through Christ and is here for us to partake of now. I believe that is what is available. I want God’s will to be done in my life. His will to be done in my family. His will to be done in my city. His will to be done in my state. I want His will to be done in the nation. I want His will to be done in the world. I want things to be on earth as it is in heaven. Maybe I don’t fully understand what that means, but I want to.

Prayer – Lord my prayer tonight is simple. Let Your kingdom come in my life, and my family, and my city, and my state, in this nation, and then this world. Let your will be done in my life, in the lives of my family, in my city, in my state, and in my nation. Let it be on Earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus name Amen
