Doors

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1 John 2:15

Reading in Day 299 of the Book of Mysteries by Jonathan Cahn he writes “The devil has many masks…so if one turns from God, the devil is always there to fill the gap. He is the god of one’s turning away from God. Whatever one would chose in the place of God, that is the form in which he will appeal. That’s why when a nation turns away from God, it moves not to the neutral but to the satanic.”

Man, that screamed to me. The devil fills in when we turn from God. Turning from God is not neutral, it is satanic.

I think about the doors I opened when I walked away from God. At only one point, did I look at it from a satanic viewpoint. There was no doubt in my mind at that specific time that it was satanic. I can see now how it is either God or satanic. I also see this in our culture in America now. The small compromises have opened the door to major satanic activity. We must close the door on this completely.

Prayer – Lord, I pray that you reveal to me any areas in my life where I have not closed the doors that I have opened when I walked away from You, or at other times in my life. I don’t want any doors open to satanic involvement in my life. Close them completely. Lord I pray Isaiah 22:22 over my life and the life of this country. Jesus was and is the key of the House of David. You laid the world upon His shoulders. Lord you open doors no one can shut and shut doors no one can open. Lord, shut the doors I have unknowingly opened to the enemy. Shut the doors that were opened by Your people’s silence. Shut the doors that we have left cracked open. Lord shut them all so that the enemy has no access to open these doors. Open the door that allows Your Holy Spirit complete access to my life and to this nation. I praise You Lord that You already have the victory. Help me to walk in it. Help all Your children, Your Church, to walk in it.
