Faces

“The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’“So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.” Numbers 24-27

I sing these words; yet, I never knew where they came from. God told Moses to speak these words over the Israelites. I was reading in Jonathan Cahn’s The Book of Mysteries about the faces of God. While we translate this passage into face, the word is actually faces.

God is not two faced. He has many dimensions. Maybe, that is why the angels can continue to say “Holy, Holy, Holy” with their eyes ever upon Him, because they can never see fully all the faces of God and who He is.

We are used to being able to pick out one or even two character traits, but God is all. God is always. God never changes. Yet, how do we really see and describe it all.

Prayer – Lord, I know I don’t have a full understanding of what it is to see all the faces of God. I want to learn more about You. I want to see more of You. You removed the vail, I want to see more of You!
