Imitators

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. Ephesians 5:1

I am called to be like God, mot someone else. At times, my mind goes farther down the past of “I wish I could be like…” But my gifts, my person was not made to bethem. I was made to imitate Christ, not someone else. There are so many facets of God’ that in order to imitate Him we will display it uniquely. I must stop trying to be like someone else and imitate God, letting Him express Himself through me.

Lord, forgive me for imitating anyone else but You. If I need to be a carbon copy of anyone, let it be Christ. Let the unique design You made me to be an imitator of You in the way You designed me.
