God’s People

Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. 1 Peter 2:10

The Israelites and the Gentiles who have received the Lord are His people. He has shown us His mercy. We belong to Him. We belong with Him. We can chose to live for Him.

Lord, Thank You for the great mercy extended so that I could be reconciled to You. Help me to give that same mercy to others. Let me walk as one of Your chosen.
