It is not about me

who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began, 2 Timothy 1:9

It is not me, it is God. He saved me. God called me. It is God’s purpose. It is by His grace. He gave Jesus and set it all up before I came alone. I am not sure how I can live selfishly or even self-centered knowing it was never me. I just have to surrender. I surrendered to His salvation. I surrendered to His calling. I surrender to His purpose. I surrendered to His grace. the life I live must be done in and through Christ.

Lord, thank You for forgiveness when I make it about me. It is all You.You along designed me. You alone sustain me. You guide and direct me in YOur calling and purpose. You empower me with Your grace. Thank You Lord.
