Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
“May they be secure who love you!
Peace be within your walls
and security within your towers!” Psalm 122:6-7
What a good prayer to offer up always for Jerusalem, but especially as I am headed there in just a few weeks. To ask God for peace in the midst of turmoil and security in the land. It is much needed!
Lord, I pray for peace for Your people, especially in the city of Jerusalem and the surrounding regions. I ask for security for all those who love You. I ask for peace within the walls, even as war, man, and time have tore them down. I pray for security for all who run to You as a safe tower. Thank You for the legacy of Your people, for grafting us in who choose to be a part of Your Jerusalem!
