His Glory

Passage – Rather, to the extent that you share the fellowship of the Messiah’s sufferings, rejoice; so that you will rejoice even more when his Sh’khinah is revealed. 1 Peter 4:13

Restated in Your own words – If you are suffering for Christ, rejoice because His glory is revealed in you. When it is finished, you will be able to rejoice more.

Application to Your Life – As my husband has been out of work for the past month and half, I have kept a positive attitude. I have continued to encourage him. I know that through this situation God is working. God came through with unexpected money from our past rental. He blessed my husband and I in winning a drawing for dinner and a movie. They are small things, I speak that in a big way.

Now I just stand and pray for my husband’s employment, knowing that God will show Himself real by giving him the things he desires, but in God’s way, in God’s timing. I know because God’s awesome like that.

Your response back to God – Lord thank You for the times of trial and suffering I have faced because they increase my dependence on You. I want my life to always bring You glory. That is the desire of my heart.
