One Time

Passage – For the Messiah himself died for sins, once and for all, a righteous person on behalf of unrighteous people, so that he might bring you to God. He was put to death in the flesh but brought to life by the Spirit; I Peter 3:18

Restated in my own words – Jesus died one time to pay the cost for all people. He was righteous but died for the unrighteous so we could be united with God. He was put to death by man, but raised by Holy Spirit.

Application to my life – One time, for all. Have to die over and over again. Reconcile this fact to God with one move. I choose to walk in that sacrifice, when I follow Jesus’s lead to walk by the Spirit and not by the flesh.

Your response back to God – Lord thank you for your sacrifice that brought me to God. I need Holy Spirit to guide me in my living, I surrender my will to you.
