Living Hope

Passage – Praised be God, Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, who, in keeping with his great mercy, has caused us, through the resurrection of Yeshua the Messiah from the dead, to be born again to a living hope, 1 Peter 1:3

Restated in my own words – Hope is living, for those born again through the resurrection of Christ that was given by God. because of His great mercy. Praise be to Him.

Application to my own life – Hope is living to those who are saved. There are very few things I feel hopeless about. None come to mind but there could be things that I’ve stopped hoping for that I don’t remember. As far as I know though I do remember I don’t think of anything as a lost cause because I know with God all things are possible. Just because I can’t see how or when doesn’t mean I have lost hope. Builds my faith through hope and things I havent seen come to pass yet.

Your response back to God – Lord, I pray that You would reveal to me any areas where I have let hope die so that You can resurrect it. Lord teach me to expand the life of my hope to grow my faith in you. I stand believing that my husband, my children, their spouses, and children will serve You with their whole body, soul and spirit. I stand knowing that Your kingdom will come in this region, binding the work of the enemy and casting it on every stronghold that has been created. Thank You for Your faithfulness. In Jesus name Amen.
